Richard and I worked closely together for 25 years. He could occasionally be grumpy, stubborn and totally infuriating (Tina will endorse this} but he was kind, solid, very supportive of those who needed his help, and very witty. We had lots of laughs together and I am really sorry that he didn't have long to enjoy his retirement.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
